In Uganda, particularly the northern region has gone through a war conflict that has greatly devastated the livelihood of the people living there.The youth are the most affected,one cannot imagine that children are abducted,taken into captivity and forced to become rebels.At the moment education in the nearby villages has come to a halt because every one is scared of going to school. Female teenagers end up having early pregnancies and as aresult there are many child mothers coupled with being infected with various sexually trasmitted diseases not mentioning AIDS.I keep wondering when this will come to an end because it has greatly retarded economic growth in the region and led to an increase in poverty.I believe the help of foreign governments in conjunction with the Ugandan government can help bring about stability in the area and once more the people will have peace.
